WORDLESS WEDNESDAYS

For some time I've seen the wordless Wednesday posts on other blogs and I thought, "self?" and self said "huh," "do we take enough pictures for such a thing..." Well self and me agree who cares. So below is my interpretation of Wordless Wednesday...

The sunset on the lake, calming

Driving and the sunlight through the clouds reminds me that things Always get better.

Every anniversary we write vows and read them to one another.

I do because I can. Making the little lady shoes all her own.

Throw this song on and you're guaranteed to want to dance, but no dancing required. lol

What are some of your wordless Wednesday photos??

WHAT A NEW.......

Hello Lovelies, I am an online member of #BLMgirls (bloggers like me) as a woman who was never really apart of any clubs or groups I feel connected and dare I say bonded with some of the ladies even though I have never meet a one! There are oftentimes a BLM meetup in various cities and unfortunately I live in the Wild, Wild, West Ahhhhh (cue music) no really I live in Upstate, NY and the closest meetup is FIVE hours away (violin keep on playing, lol) so I thought about a great way to meet them without actually being in their presence, and "WHAT A NEW" was born!

WHAT A NEW friend I have, WHAT A NEW way to look at things, WHAT A NEW vibrant energy, WHAT A NEW ____<<<<insert here.

SO FIRST UP INTRODUCING....A NEW ARTIST!

Mrs. Rochelle Washington of Lithia Springs, GA. My fellow #BLMGirl has not one but two blogs.Check them out below the post

So without further ado below is a look into the mind of Rochelle.

Describe yourself using three adjectives:

Creative. Passionate. Musical.

What has been your greatest obstacle to overcome as a blogger:

My greatest obstacle to overcome as a blogger has been myself.  I have my moments where I want everything other bloggers have at once, followers, advertising, sponsorships  etc.  I just need to embrace where I am and work on growing my blog.

If I opened your fridge at this very moment what would have the oldest expiration date:

Probably mayo.  I hate mayo and use it as sparingly as possible.

If you had to tell your 18 year old self one word to explain her at ____(current age) what would it be:

Learning

Has Blogging changed your life, how, if not why:

Blogging has changed my life in the sense that it has opened me up to possibilites that otherwise I would not have imagined.  Crafting wise, it has allowed me to share my crafts with other crafters and participate in some great things.  Lifestyle blog wise, I've gained more confidence and pride in myself as a woman by chronicling and sharing what my daily life is like.  Being able to go back and read what I've written is a living diary helping me improve and also appreciate my journey.

Your favorite made up word and please use it in a sentence:

"Good in my Soul".  Girl, I just ate the best meal, it was good in my soul!

What would you say to the person or people who raised you:

To my mother I would say:  Thank you for allowing me to be expressive and raising me to be an independent and free thinker.  The morals, values and culture that you poured into me is with me daily and I consider it an honor to have been raised by such a dedicated, giving, polished and elegant woman such as you.  You are my blue print for motherhood and I can't thank you enough for being a constant reminder of what finer womanhood is.

Isn't she AwesomeSauce!! Thank you Rochelle for being my first (hehehe) and breaking the ice with me, I was really nervous about this project but you've made it simply put, Easy peasy!

Now I have to go I've got food on the stove, lol

Check out her wonderful creative and inspirational side, let her know Mrs.everythingandnothing2it sent ya!

Happy Monday ladies and gents below is THE WEEKEND WRAP UP...

My little lady starting swim and it. was. a. disaster. she hollered for the first 5 minutes in the water, I get out and try to get her back in, oh no ladies and gents Miss.Mikayla wasn't having it but boy did she look adorable in her swimsuit!

After swim we had some pumpkin action and it was a ball, she truly enjoyed the farm, I would have never thought so I'm a bona-fide city gal!

the big kid helping out his sister.

she fell in love with the oddly shaped and bumped pumpkin that's as tall as her. when we put it in the cart she kept watching it like "you better not leave it!"

Then I decided I really wanted to go dancing so that's what I did....almost..kinda...sort-of..okay I went to the CLUB! lol

So mad my shoes aren't in here because they are my new favorite! Below are the new beauties.
Skirt: H&M Shirt: Forever 21 Shoes: DSW

SEVENTY / THIRTY

Hello my fellow readers, my how long it's been. How the heck is everyone (feel free to comment and truly answer this question). I've missed the updating but I must be honest I needed the time away to "recharge". With that being said I am giving you all an UPDATE!

I chopped off all of my hair....Well the majority of it. The above photo is me feeling good and free and the below picture is of me (the old length) and my wonderful sister-in-law sporting our "borrowed" tiaras.

My "pout" is a hot mess. SMH.

Back to my post title...I went to a wonderful entrepreneurial workshop in PA and one of the guest speakers was a doctor and she gave me a punch to the gut! Seventy / Thirty...Seventy / Thirty....ONLY THIRTY PERCENT OF WHAT HAPPENS TO YOU PHYSICALLY IS GENETIC OR PRE-DISPOSED TO, THE OTHER SEVENTY IS WHAT WE DO TO OURSELVES!!

I'll wait and let that marinate! It hit me like a ton of bricks because in my mind of excuses, I can't loose weight because my family this or my family that. NOPE Mrs. Thang you aren't loosing weight because of what YOU do!

So my lovely readers, Mrs. Everythingandnothing2it is GETTING IT TOGETHER!!

Missed you all like Sunday Morning, see you soon and make sure you find a reason to say AWESOMESAUCE!

Snoop "Lion" Dogg Concert Review

I was very reluctant to attend a Rap concert with my husband, because I am a die-hard neo-soul fanatic and quite frankly unless it was in heavy rotation on the radio I have no clue about Rab music. But I wanted a night out with the Mister so I entertained his idea, this is Mrs.everythingandnothing2it's take on the Mr.D-O-Double G....

YelaWolf was the opening act....

This was the crowd with a few die hard fans in front.

The doors opened at 6pm, we are almost always fashionably late so true to form we arrived at CMAC around 7:45pm, the opening act didn't come on until around 8:10pm.I believe as a promoter your emphasis should be on customer satisfaction had it not been for the "Box" we were lucky to be in and the constant barrage of GREAT individual attention I would have been completed annoyed and "Reasty to go"(I know reasty is spelled wrong auto check).

Around 9:15pm still no sign of snoop the crowd began to really fill in the space....and then I. Couldn't. Breathe. I am not sure how many Rap concerts are like this but we were outdoors and yet there still was NO fresh air, then I look on stage and his band-mates, his hype crew, EVERYONE Lighting and passing. That place wrecked of Ganja. Needless to say when Snoop came on at 9:30pm the crowd was amped and so was I(I think I caught a contact).

I am going to leave you with a snippet of his last song and a my final review. Snoop is AWESOME, he reminds me of one of my uncles who without effort is just cool and full of don't worry be happy(Hey Uncle Eric). He delivered with every song and you got a feeling that he truly loves his fans. I do have to say during a couple songs "Uncle Junebug" comes out and dances and I believe his Unc left with a couple "groupies," lol. Despite changing my clothes in the garage and washing my hair immediately AND not getting home until almost 1am I'd DO IT ALL AGAIN!!! Awesome company, good food, great company and seeing the Mister enjoy himself is all that I can ask for!!

It may be loud so be cautious, if you're at work!

happy Friday!!! LIVING YOUNG AND WILD AND FREE!!!
